Parrot Training

Parrots are the most fascinating breed of birds that have the ability to quickly adapt to human surroundings. These charming birds can surprise you with their elegance and majesty. One such parrot species that is sure to fascinate you with their flamboyance is the Macaws.
Macaws are definitely a gift from nature and their rainbow colored wings enhances their beauty and attractiveness. These birds are beautiful, intelligent, and highly captivating. They are found and bred in Central and South America. Initially they were kept in captivity to protect and preserve the species, but now Macaws freely roam in the wilderness.
There are seventeen species of these birds found today, some examples being Blue and Gold Macaw, Military Macaw, Hyacinth Macaw, and Scarlet Macaw. These are the best parrots to have as pets. Macaws respond quickly to good training which also allows them to stay healthy and live longer. Before starting the parrot training you must get familiar with the bird’s diet, feather conditions, personality and flying tendencies.
Parrot training requires a large amount of patience and hard work. Training can bring about wonderful changes in Macaws mostly in their behavior and discipline. You can train them to be mischievous, hilarious and happy. There are many ways to go about with the training depending upon the response of your Macaw.
Some lines on which you can train your parrot is to be friendly, to sing, talk, perform tricks and many more. One should keep in mind not to stress out the bird while training. Give it ample time to relax before attempting to train again.
